🚚 Delivery & Returns – What to Expect
At Luka Furniture, we aim to make the delivery process as smooth and transparent as possible.
🏠 Home Delivery – No Showrooms or Pick-Up
We deliver directly to your home across Ireland.
Please note that we do not operate any physical showrooms and do not offer a pick-up option – all items are delivered by our professional team.
📦 Delivery Process & Assembly
Your order will be delivered by two experienced delivery men
Sofas are assembled in your home by our team
Flat-pack furniture (such as wardrobes) is not assembled – customers are responsible for assembling those items
If requested in advance, we can also arrange for the removal of your old sofa for an additional charge of €80–€120, depending on size.
⏰ Delivery Time & Notifications
Delivery time depends on your location and the items ordered
We can provide an estimated delivery timeframe before you place your order – simply contact us directly to ask
2–3 days before delivery, we will send you a text message with your scheduled delivery date and a 3-hour time slot
On the day of delivery, you’ll receive another text 30 minutes before the driver’s arrival
Please note: delivery slots may be affected by traffic or logistical delays, but we always do our best to keep you informed.
🧹 Preparing for Delivery
We kindly ask all customers to:
Ensure there is enough space to bring in and place the new furniture
Remove any obstacles or items blocking access – our drivers do not move existing furniture
During COVID-19 or flu season, please air out your home for the safety of all involved
👤 Customer Presence Required
It is essential that someone is home during the scheduled delivery time.
If you’re not available, it’s the customer’s responsibility to arrange for someone else to accept the delivery.
Please note: we cannot change the delivery time once scheduled.
If the delivery cannot be completed because no one is present, your order will be rescheduled. This may delay delivery by 1–2 weeks, depending on our schedule for your area.
🔁 Returns Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase. That’s why we accept:
Returns of sofas within 7 days of delivery
Please note: delivery charges are non-refundable
Flat-pack furniture that has been opened or assembled cannot be returned
